About Outdoor Empire Publishing

Our company publishes Fishing & Hunting News, the nation's largest outdoor newsmagazine. Founded in 1954, we publish 24 times a year - twice each month - to give our readers the timely where-to-go, how-to-use information they want. Fishing & Hunting News offers region-specific editions offering highly detailed local information our readers cannot get anywhere else. Our region-specific editions cover 18 states: Washington, Oregon, California, Colorado, Mid-Atlantic states (New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania) and Rocky Mountain states (Idaho, Montana, Utah, Wyoming, Nevada).

OEP also has a commercial printing, bindery and mailing division serving a diverse client base.

In addition to Fishing & Hunting News magazine, Outdoor Empire Publishing will still offer its commercial print services. We offer the full range of our in-house printing, publishing, and bindery services to additional customers through use of our commercial printing division. We specialize in magazines, booklets, brochures, and cards and are able to print on a variety of paper stocks including newsprint, high brite groundwoods, offset white book stock and matte finishes ranging from 30lb newsprint to 75lb reply card.

Specifically, we are interested in assisting customers who require heat set web printing that is tailored to our equipment.

Our 10-unit Suburban Goss heat set web press is capable of quarter folds, half folds and sheeter work and is capable of 4, 8, 16, 24, and 32 page signatures in 4-color process.
